NightRush: It glows or it looms?

Game Offering

We waited for the night to set in and we took this online casino for a ride. We were glad to find our must-have game providers in the lobby: NetEnt, Play’n GO, Quickspin, Microgaming, Thunderkick or Yggdrasil. Unfortunately, Gamomat, Scientific Games or Push Gaming were not on the menu. So if you’re interested in some of the classics like Ramses Book, Books & Bulls or Monopoly games, you’re going to want to look for something else.

On the whole, we discovered a decent selection of games, around 700, which is common for smaller online casinos. We were glad to see the current popular games in their offering. If you enjoy games such as Legacy of Dead, Sweet Bonanza, Gonzo’s Quest Megaways, Vikings go Berzerk and Immortal Romance you’ll feel right at home.

Live casino fans will find an adequate selection of games available as well. Evolution Gaming and Pragmatic Play supply most of the tables, which means that crowd favorites are going to be there. We saw Lightning Roulette, Dream Catcher, Blackjack Party or Deal or No Deal.

Design

Design wise, we have a lot of appreciation for how they envisioned the brand. Navigating around, we immediately noticed how incredible it felt and how easy it was to use, both on desktop and mobile.

The layout across all pages is consistent with the theme: a bit of sparkly fun at the end of a long day. They used plenty of purple and dark blue shades, which is relaxing for the eye and does feel like the whole casino has been curated for night owls. Discovering what this casino offers was simple and to the point most of the time. There were a couple of aspects that would have benefited from more polish though: the Tournament section and the search filters. The former looks a bit less polished in comparison with its sibling online casino, Das Ist Casino. The latter is unfortunately quite basic and only useful for players who know exactly what they’re looking for.

Promotions:

Welcome bonus

NightRush’s Welcome Offer stands out by having a generous welcome package worth up to €333. It is split in 3 deposits: the first one is 100% up to 111€, while the other two are worth 50% up to €111 each. There are some things you need to be aware of before depositing though:

  • 14 days term to play the bonus from the moment it was granted,
  • a 45x wagering requirement that feels somewhat excessive, making it difficult to withdraw any winnings.

If you deposit at least €50 (instead of the standard 10), you’ll also receive 100 Free Spins for each deposit. They split these over 5 days , so it’s something to keep in mind if you have limited play time .

Veteran Player rewards and events

We were pleasantly surprised by the diversity in their recurrent events. First of all, NightRush features a weekly 50% bonus up to €150. This is definitely a good start, especially since the upper limit is so high compared to other competitors in the same bracket.

Next, they follow it up with a variable amount of no-deposit free spins based on the amount you deposited in the past week. These are going to be there regardless of what you do, whether you took a bonus with those deposits or not, so we found it a satisfying little treat.

In addition, NightRush features a standard VIP club program with all the standard amenities. You get loyalty points, faster withdrawals and recurrent no-deposit free spins. Everything we mentioned in our loyalty program overview article applies here as well.

Finally, we were thrilled to see NightRush implementing Tournaments. You’d expect that nowadays these should be a standard feature among online casinos, but it doesn’t seem to be the case. There seem to be little restrictions to taking part in these events. As long as you wager above the minimum amount (usually that’s €1) you’re going to be part of it. The rewards are a few 3 digit bonuses and free spins. While we would have liked to see some more complex mechanics, NightRush has a good base here. If they put the time in it, they can grow into something more compelling into the future.

Understand these T&Cs before depositing

NightRush puts some limits on withdrawals that reminded us of new, inexperienced casinos. One of the aspects that will affect everyone is the pending period, which seems to go up to 3 days. In our experience this is quite a lot. We’ve come to expect 24 hours as a standard and the more qualitative casinos out there will feature same-day processing as the norm.

Withdrawal Limitations

Moreover, it’s important to mention their maximum monthly withdrawal amounts. Nightrush offers a daily limit of €5,000 on withdrawals as well as a maximum of €15,000 monthly limit. While the former we could live with, the latter does disappoint those of us that are aiming for big multipliers on slot games.

There is also another term which made us raise an eyebrow: you need to turn over your deposit three times before you initiate a withdrawal. In case this rule is not met they “reserve the right to charge you the cost of the transaction processing”, but without mentioning any value. This becomes more confusing when you look at their “payment details” page, where every method has “Free” listed under “Fee”.

Finally, it seems that phone numbers and phone conversations are vital for NightRush’s KYC process. They have a specific term: if your phone number is incorrect or if they cannot get you on a phone call for KYC purposes, they reserve the right to confiscate your winnings. That feels excessive inn the age of email and automated KYC tools.

Gameplay Limitations

The first important aspect you should take into consideration is that they have a very large list of excluded games. There were even some we weren’t expected to see at all, like Piggy Riches, Hotline or Guns’N’Roses. It’s a good idea to check this list before depositing if you intend to claim a bonus since you could end up not being able to play your favorite game.

Second, it’s worth knowing that there are maximum withdrawal limits on no-deposit free spins. It won’t affect you early on, but once you start benefiting from the VIP club rewards and the weekly spins it will become important. What they say is that the largest amount you can withdraw from these types of rewards is €50. This does lower the value of all those loyalty programs by quite a bit.

Conclusion

NightRush markets itself as an online casino for all-nighters, which is bohemian to say the least. We perceived it as one of those coffee places which start brewing after 7 p.m. and stay open only at night. We tested it, we liked it and most importantly, we felt safe. A good game selection, solid loyalty events and adequate withdrawal experience, place NightRush in our “do try” category. You can check it out here.
