Playzee presents us with a polished and quite creative site. They feature a central character, Zeedmund the scientist, around which they create every other element. Thus we get a sense of cohesion. Here we’re inundated by an atmosphere of elegance and luxury; colors change to a more sober black and gold and even the main character dons a suit. Good attention to detail.

Their game filter looks and feels rudimentary. This becomes a problem due to their huge game library. The only way to sift through it and find something you like is by taking it game by game.

Welcome bonus

Playzee’s welcome bonus stands out quite well due to their high limits. 100% up to £300 is something that eclipses the offers from casinos in the same space. If you’re looking for an extended session this bonus can definitely deliver. Once you’ve decided to play more with Playzee, you get thrust into a plethora of daily events and loyalty rewards. First of all, we have to say we appreciated the fact that every day there seems to be a different promotion. Most of the campaigns follow a similar pattern:

• bonuses given depending on how much you lost,
• standard reload bonuses, usually 20-25%,
• bonuses given based on how much you wagered. These were usually capped at 20£/€/$,
• giving as many bonus spins as £/€/$ deposited.

There is a reasonable amount of variety and they gave an interesting spin on the standard reload bonus or bonus spins. The value is pretty low usually, but if your plan is to deposit little amounts every day to play, these types of events fit.

The more interesting aspect is that on every Sunday, they offer you some rewards based on how many Zee points you acquired throughout the week. As a “surprise reward” this method works pretty well.

Playzee also has loyalty points, which they call “Zee points”. As usual, based on how much you wager you accumulate these points. The end result is that you can expect these to amount to about 1-2% bonus on your deposits once you convert them.

The more interesting aspect is that on every Sunday, they offer you some rewards based on how many Zee points you acquired throughout the week:

• once per week, you get 10-100 bonus spins,
• once per month you can get £10-200GBP in bonus money.

As a “surprise reward” this method works pretty well. And we have to admit, in actual play these rewards seem to come at a quick pace. But, once you start looking at your play history you notice that the amount you’re getting is close to 3-4% of the total deposit. Whether that’s enough for you, is something you’ll have to decide, but we found that financially, in the end, we could get better value with other casinos.

First of all, let’s talk wagering requirements on bonuses. All bonuses have a 35x wagering requirement. But the big trick appears when you see what it applies to. With this brand, wagering requirements on deposit bonuses depend on bonus and deposit amount. So in practice they are going to be double what you see shown there. If you deposit £100 for their welcome bonus, you will have to turn over £7000 to cashout anything that’s left over. Tricky.

Next, Playzee has a very large list of games that only contribute 0-20% for the wagering requirement. It’s a good idea to check this list before depositing if you intend to claim a bonus since you could end up not being able to play your favorite game.

As we’ve seen with a few other brands, they cap the wins from bonus spins at only £50. We usually frown upon this practice because they diminish a lot of the value given via loyalty schemes. And given the amount of bonus spins they award as part of the standard campaigns and loyalty program, it seems to apply to Playzee as well.

Conclusion

All in all, we found Playzee to be a well polished brand with a lot of energy. It felt well suited to players who like playing often for small amounts and if that’s your type of game we recommend it.
